- 50 ml Heart of Scotland Gin Original/London Dry or Navy Strength
- 25 ml Freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 25 ml Crème de Violette
- 25 ml Simple syrup (or 1 tsp caster sugar; dissolve well)
- 30 ml Soda water 30–60ml per cocktail to taste
- 30 ml Egg white (30ml = the whites of 1 large egg)
- 1 Handful Ice
🌿 Garnish
- 1 Flower Or Twist Edible violet or lemon twist

- 1 Martini or fizz glass
- 1 Cocktail shaker
- 1 Hawthorne strainer
- 1 Jigger or measuring spoons

Method
- Build:Add gin, lemon juice, crème de Violette, and simple syrup to a shaker with ice. Shake hard 10–15 seconds until well chilled. If you prefer a foam cap, you may add 30 ml egg white and dry-shake first, then shake with ice
- Serve:Strain into a chilled martini/fizz glass. Top with soda water to taste.
