What began as a quiet hobby has grown into a family-run distillery rooted in craftsmanship, community, and place.
Nestled in Clackmannanshire, we’re a Scottish craft distillery within easy reach of Edinburgh, Stirling, and Glasgow — where traditional methods meet careful, modern experimentation in every small batch.
We produce award-winning Scottish gin and vodka in small runs, using Ochil Hills water, locally foraged botanicals, and a meticulous hands-on approach — creating spirits with character, balance, and depth.
Visitors are always welcome. Book Distillery Tours, enjoy a guided gin tasting, or join our Gin School to create your own recipe. Design your gin, distil it on a miniature still, and take home a personalised 50cl bottle.

Heart of Scotland Original London Dry is a small-batch Scottish London Dry Gin, distilled by us in Clackmannan. Built around crisp juniper, vibrant coriander, and a smooth coastal lift from Blackthorn Salt, it delivers a classic flavour profile with a distinctive Scottish character. Our Original London Dry was recognised with Gold in 2026 at both the World Gin Awards and The Gin Guide Awards, adding to its growing reputation as one of Scotland’s standout gins from our small family team.

I purchased a bottle of gin recently. Very nice taste. Only had a single shot with tonic as it is stronger than my usual gin. Love the design on the bottle when empty I am going to put some lights inside. I will definitely purchase another bottle.

Received both Gin and Vodka as a gift. Opened vodka at a party with friends and was a highlight for all. My partner had the gin when relaxing in the evening which went down a treat and the gin goblet is now her favourite glass to use. Will definitely be ordering more bottles from Heart of Scotland Distillery, an excellent local brand!!!

I was recently at a night out in the Abernethy Nook and tried the Heart of Scotland gin for the first time… and it was fair braw!! As someone who likes to think they know good gin when they taste it, I was really impressed.
