I love small batch gins and was really pleased to come across one from my part of Scotland. I bought a couple of bottles to try it and was really impressed - delivery was quick and the gin was excellent - I really liked the idea of the seasalt that they use in the recipe. I made a few standard G&Ts first (FeverTree tonic, obviously), and then decided to experiment with a few of the cocktails they mentioned on the website and they were a lot of fun. Definitely putting this stuff on my Christmas list!
I've tried many gins over the years, however, Heart of Scotland gin is smooth and easy to drink, being made in the Wee County with locally sourced botanicals makes it even more special. I recommend treating yourself to a bottle or if you can part with it would make a great gift.
