Award-Winning Scottish Gin & Vodka
For our wee family-run distillery in Clackmannan, seeing our spirits recognised alongside established producers from Scotland and around the world has meant more than we can properly put into words. Every bottle is distilled, bottled and labelled by us in our own distillery. These awards are independent recognition of the care, patience and hands-on work that go into every batch of our Scottish gin and vodka.
New Distillery of the Year 2026
Heart of Scotland Distillery was named New Distillery of the Year 2026 at The Spirits Guide Awards.
The award recognised the performance of our spirits across more than one category, including Gold awards for our Original Dry Gin and Scottish Vodka, together with Bronze recognition for our vodka in the Vodka Martini category.
For us, as a husband and wife team (Andy and Gillian), working together from our small family distillery in Clackmannan, this was about more than one bottle. It recognised the quality and consistency of the range we are building from the heart.

Our small-batch Scottish Vodka received Gold at The Spirits Guide Awards 2026, together with Bronze recognition when judged in a classic Vodka Martini.
Clean, smooth and balanced,it is distilled by us in Clackmannan using Ochil Hills water and a touch of Blackthorn Salt.
Pink Gin
Our Pink Gin received Silver with 87 points at the London Spirits Competition 2026, together with finalist recognition at The Gin Cooperative Awards.
Floral, gently fruity and warming, with pomegranate, pink peppercorn and hibiscus creating a balanced gin that is full of character without being overly sweet.
Navy Strength Gin
Our bold 57% ABV Navy Strength Gin received Silver at The Gin Masters 2025 and finalist recognition in both the Navy Strength and New Scottish Gin categories.
Full-bodied and juniper-led, it delivers greater intensity while retaining the smoothness and balance we aim for in every spirit.
What These Awards Mean to Us
When we started Heart of Scotland Distillery, all we really wanted to know was whether we could make good spirits ourselves, in our own wee distillery, that people would genuinely enjoy.
To have our gin and vodka repeatedly recognised by independent judges means a great deal. It tells us that the care, patience and attention going into every bottle are being noticed.
We are still a young distillery, and we are still learning and improving with every run. These awards are not the end goal. They are encouragement to keep going, keep refining and keep making spirits that we are proud to put the Heart of Scotland name on.
