Scottish Gin Botanicals
The Heart of Our Craft & Tradition 💙
We craft our spirits with a focused mix of Scottish gin botanicals and a few carefully sourced exotics. Some are foraged in season, others come from trusted growers, and every one earns its place in the glass. A pinch of Blackthorn Salt helps knit flavours together and lengthen the finish.
We distil pure grain spirit and draw it from the still at around 70% ABV. Subsequently, we proof it down using filtered water from the Ochil Hills. This careful process brings clarity, smoothness, and a refined finish to every pour.
As a true London Dry Gin, all flavour comes solely from distillation. We never add sweeteners or artificial flavourings. This creates depth, natural balance, and a truly authentic spirit.
Why Copper Is King
Copper isn’t just traditional—it’s functional. Copper contact strips sulphur compounds and harsh volatiles, polishing the spirit for a cleaner aroma and taste. The onion head and bubble plates increase reflux and separation, delivering a brighter, more aromatic distillate. We pair generous copper contact with stainless efficiency to balance flavour, consistency and yield.
Above all, our flavour comes from hand-selected Scottish botanicals. We choose each for its quality and how it behaves during distillation.

At Heart of Scotland Distillery, every small batch starts with tradition and precision.
We distil pure grain spirit in copper stills, proofed with filtered Ochil Hills water for smoothness and clarity. As a true London Dry Gin, all flavour comes from distillation — no sweeteners, no artificial additives.
A vapour basket gently infuses citrus, spice, and florals, preserving fresh, layered flavour. The still’s shape fine-tunes texture and aroma, while hand-selected Scottish botanicals bring bold juniper, bright citrus, and warming spice together in every sip.
