Shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds to chill and infuse the flavours.

Strain into a highball glass filled with fresh ice.

Top with soda water and gently stir to combine.

Garnish & Tips

Garnish with sprigs of mint and slice or two of lime

Tip
Shaking Tip
Hold the shaker with both hands—one on the base and one on the top—to ensure a firm grip. Shake with a controlled, vigorous motion to properly mix and chill the ingredients while incorporating just the right amount of dilution.

Also Tear the mint leaves this increases the oils and flavours infused in to the cocktail

Why Temperature Matters
The icy exterior of the shaker is a key indicator that your cocktail has reached optimal chill. Proper chilling enhances both flavour and texture while ensuring the right level of dilution. Over-dilution can weaken the flavours, while under-chilling results in a less refreshing experience.

Why Use Heart of Scotland Navy Strength Gin?

Crafted with exceptional care in small batches, our Navy Strength Gin is infused with the soul of Clackmannan—bold, rich, and unmistakably smooth. The higher proof elevates the citrus and herbal notes, perfectly balancing the sharpness of lime and the freshness of mint. Salted ever so slightly with Blackthorn Salt, it delivers a deeper, more complex flavour profile that brings this cocktail to life.
